As a Brand Representative at Abercrombie & Fitch, I gained hands-on experience in the execution of brand marketing at the store level. My role involved creating an inviting and brand-consistent atmosphere by maintaining store visual standards, arranging products to highlight new arrivals and promotions, and engaging with customers to provide a tailored shopping experience. By observing customer preferences and gauging the effectiveness of in-store displays, I developed an understanding of consumer psychology and how product placement, merchandising, and personal interaction contribute to brand perception and sales. This role also highlighted the importance of consistency in brand messaging and the impact of frontline brand ambassadors on a brand’s image and customer loyalty. This experience equipped me with valuable insights into how in-store marketing efforts directly support brand strategy and drive engagement.

As a Head Lifeguard, I honed leadership and organizational skills critical to managing operations and enhancing customer experience. My responsibilities included creating effective schedules to ensure consistent pool coverage, handling day-to-day pool maintenance and operational challenges, and resolving customer issues quickly to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Additionally, I used my creativity to design themed pool parties and events that attracted more guests and added value to the pool experience. This role strengthened my problem-solving abilities, my capacity for multitasking, and my skill in team coordination.

As a grocery clerk at Publix, I was responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring the store shelves were fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing. I worked closely with the team to manage inventory, rotate products, and maintain cleanliness in the aisles.
